I never liked Mac Miller, to be honest I never gave him a fair chance, so when I uploded his new mixtape in my system I was genuinely suprised.

Solid mixtape featuring acts like Cam’ron, Casey Veggies, Juicy J, Kendrick Lamar, and Sir Michael Rocks. Mac Miller’s certainly a far cry from your average rapper. So in the spirit of surprising, but not that surprising when you think about it, collab with Lil’ Wayne, took form and result is BANGIN!!!

Wally West & ID Labs provide the production for the two emcees to go to work on, laying down a supremely mellow, almost jazzy beat perfect for some soul-searching.

Watching Kendrick’s ascent has been fun. Last year’s “street” album Section.80 proved that he was one of the best lyricists in the game and possibly the new face of west coast hip-hop. Months later we heard reports that he was in the studio with Dr. Dre and in August we saw Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Game sign off on him. Not to mention just last month we saw Kendrick’s whole Top Dawg/Black Hippy crew sign a deal with Dre’s Aftermath and Interscope.

The day we have been waiting for finally came. Dre & Kendrick Collabo.
This track is getting airplay galore over here in the Impersial Sounds Abode.

The Recipe is in my opinion one of the best tracks of 2012.

Watching Lost and writing a little... I really feel tempted to jump into the mic booth and record but my voice is almost non existing... been sick for a minute..

Anyhow, wanted to sprinkle little Sean P Love on my blog, since I came to the conclusion yesterday that I need more Sean Price in my life...

He will be returning with a new album this year, but end of 2009 he released the Kimbo Price mixtape, which included the track “Duck Down” featuring Skyzoo and Torae...
